Barcelona Transport: Barcelona Airport Transport
Barcelona’s El Prat Airport is situated 12 kilometres South West of the city. Transportation is provided into Barcelona city by bus and train. Renfe trains depart every half hour and take 20 minutes to reach Barcelona Sant station. A one way ticket costs approximately 2.25 euro. The aerobus departs every 15 minutes and depending on traffic, takes 40 minutes. A one way ticket costs 3 euro.
There is also a large taxi rank outside the terminal building. The close proximity of the city from the airport means that taxis are a viable option if you are in a hurry or just missed the train. Expect to pay around 18 euros for the journey plus a supplement for each large item of luggage.
