The Balmes hotel was built in 1990 and was refurbished in 2003. It is a fresh, modern hotel and aims to be the best 3 star hotel in the city. The hotel benefits from onsite car parking and a garden with outside swimming pool and solarium. The staff here, aim to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.

All 100 rooms are ensuite with air conditioning, sound proofing, telephone, safe, minibar, satellite TV, hairdryer, fax and modem connection. Room service is available from 07.00am to 11.00pm each day.

Restaurant Balmes offers Mediterranen cuisine with fresh products, fine quality and at an excellent price. Bar Bal is the perfect place to have a relaxing drink before heading out for a night on the town. There are restaurants, bars and nightclubs within a short walk of the hotel.

Located in the centre of the city, the hotel is close to the Tapies Foundation, founded by painter Antoni Tàpies in 1984 to promote the study and understanding of modern art.
